Masterpiece: A New Humanity (Ch. 7)

I want to live differently. I want to live into a humanity that is comfortable with creating. That is why I started the art journal. A messy, but safe, space for me to express any possible artistic whim.

“Life is a creative act.”

Oh, what a joyous truth this is for me! I can be creative and imaginative and artistic and new and nuanced and vibrant just by living. I can do it in my art journal or this design class or in my conversations or my relationships. I am free to live creatively. “Every human being is brimming with divine potential.” Even me, in my type A, perfectionist personality, the personality scared of the failure inherent in creating, is given the potential to be an artist.

Not just the potential. This is a reality! I am already overflowing with the essence of the Divine. I am a creative!
